Murtaza Solangi appreciates Pakistanis for their valuable services in the Maldives & for their homeland, Pakistan


MALE, Nov 19 (SABAH): Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi met Maldives’ Minister for Economic Affairs and Trade Mohamed Saeed.

Speaking on the occasion, the Information Minister highlighted the available scope in trade and economic sector between the two countries. During the meeting, it was emphasized to establish trade forums for improving the trade activities and capitalize the trade potential. 

On his part, Mohamed Saeed thanked Murtaza Solangi for participation in the Presidential Inauguration Ceremony.

Meanwhile, Federal Minister Murtaza Solangi also held interaction with the representing members of the Pakistani Community in the Maldives.  He appreciated, the Pakistanis for their valuable services in the Maldives and for their homeland, Pakistan.

The members paid gratitude to Information Minister over provision of opportunity of interaction and exchanging of views. The community members, including of those engaged in business; requested for establishing direct ‘Air Connectivity’ between Pakistan and Maldives, which will help improve people-to-people contacts besides boosting trade relations between both brotherly countries.

Meanwhile Murtaza Solangi also held meeting with the Islamic Minister of Maldives Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saced at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs. Minister Shaheem warmly welcomed the Minister Solangi and extended gratitude to the Government and people of Pakistan for maintaining good relations with the Government and people of Maldives. Both sides agreed to work together for further deepening the ties between the countries.

Meanwhile Murtaza Solangi has left Maldives after attending the Presidential Inauguration of Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu. The Minister was seen-off by senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Maldives.

Besides holding meetings with Maldivian leadership, including President Mohamed Muizzu, Murtaza Solangi interacted with world leaders during his visit to the Maldives.
