Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, Ambassador (retd) Muhammad Sadiq appointed special assistants to PM

ISLAMABAD, April 27 (SABAH): Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has appointed Muhammad Hanif Abbasi and Ambassador (retd) Muhammad Sadiq as his special assistants with immediate effect.

According to the notifications issued by the Cabinet Division on Wednesday, the status of Muhammad Hanif Abbasi will be equal to federal minister.

The notification of the Muhammad Hanif Abbasi’s appointment states:

No-3-2/2022-Min-1.-The Prime Minister, in terms of rule 4(6) of the Rules of Business, 1973, read with serial number 1A of Schedule V-A of the said Rules, has been pleased to appoint Mr. Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister with the status of Federal Minister, with immediate effect.

Meanwhile the status of Ambassador (retd) Muhammad Sadiq will be equal to minister of state.

Meanwhile the notification of Ambassador (retd) Muhammad Sadiq’s appointment states:

No-3-2/2022-Min-1(i).-The Prime Minister, in terms of rule 4(6) of the Rules of Business, 1973, read with serial number 1A of Schedule V-A of the said Rules, has been pleased to appoint Mr. Ambassador (R) Muhammad Sadiq, as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister with the status of Minister of State, with immediate effect.

Cabinet Division has issued separate notifications on Wednesday. The notifications have been issued by Joint Secretary Cabinet Division Taimur Tajammal. The copies of the notifications have been sent to all the concerned officials.
