Muhammad Abdul Shakoor urges all Pakistanis to help rain & flood affectees


LAHORE, August 01 (SABAH): President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Muhammad Abdul Shakoor has appealed to all Pakistanis living inside and outside Pakistan with peace and prosperity to come forward for the help of those children, old citizens and women hit by heavy rains and floods.

Muhammad Abdul Shakoor expressed these views in a video message on Monday. Hundreds of people lost their lives in Karachi, Sanghar, South Punjab, Chitral and Gilgit in result of floods. Thousands of homes were washed away and millions of animals and crops were destroyed.

Moreover, Muhammad Abdul Shakoor said that for the sake of Almighty Allah’s pleasure, thousands of volunteers of Alkhidmat Foundation are helping the calamity-hit pitiable families with providing food and shelters. He said, “I’m addressing Pakistani people in difficult phase. All the country is inundated with flood water with particular its impacts in Balochistan. It’s impossible even to see pictures of those pitiable victims. Remember he who saved one life saved the whole humanity,” Muhammad Abdul Shakoor added.

He said the things which the flood victims need on emergency basis include tent valuing Rs 2,500, dry ration Rs 5,000, cooked food Rs 10,000 and medical camp Rs 50,000.
