Mother of senior journalist & News Editor of ‘SABAH’ Muhammad Nisar Khan passes away

ISLAMABAD, Nov 02 (SABAH): Senior journalist and News Editor of South Asian Broadcasting Agency (SABAH) Muhammad Nisar Khan’s mother passed away on Tuesday after a protracted illness.

She was admitted to a hospital in Peshawar where she breathed her last on Tuesday morning. She had to bear a prolonged ailment. Her funeral prayer was offered in Dhairi Jolgram village of Tehsil Batkhela in Malakand District.

A large number of political and social personalities and journalists participated in the funeral prayer. After offering funeral prayer, she was laid to rest at the local graveyard.

A condolence meeting was held at “SABAH” office in which Chief Editor Shakil Ahmed Turabi and staff participated. The meeting prayed for the high status of the departed soul in jannah and patience to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
