Moonis Elahi did not take him in confidence when he joined Imran Khan’s block: Chaudhry Salik

LONDON, Dec 10, (SABAH): Federal Minister for Board of Investment and Special Initiates Chaudhry Salik Hussain on Saturday called on Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) supreme Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in London.

During the meeting, the matters pertaining to the Punjab’s political situation and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) announcement to dissolve the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies were discussed in detail.

In a media talk after the meeting with Nawaz Sharif, Chaudhry Salik said that the deposed premier did not tell him the exact date of his return to Pakistan, adding that in the next general elections, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain will lead the party’s campaign.

He said that Moonis Elahi did not take him in confidence when he joined Imran Khan’s block. “I and Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain are ready to talk to Moonis Elahi if he wants,” Chaudhry Salik added.
