Mohsin Naqvi says revamping of Federal Investigation Agency on the cards to curb human trafficking

LAHORE, Feb 01 (SABAH): Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi says revamping of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is on the cards to curb human trafficking.

Talking to newsmen on Saturday after inaugurating the new passport office established at the NADRA Center on Peco Road in Lahore, Mohsin Naqvi said human traffickers are bringing a bad name for the country, which cannot be tolerated.

Responding to a question regarding problems being faced by people for getting passports, the Minister said Model Centers are being established to facilitate the public at large.

Mohsin Naqvi has taken an excellent initiative for the convenience of citizens, as a passport office has also been opened at the NADRA Center on Peco Road in Lahore. Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the new passport office established at the NADRA Center on Peco Road. Interior Minister reviewed the process of obtaining passports. He met with citizens who came to apply for passports and inquired about the process. Citizens, while speaking to the Interior Minister, said that they have received excellent facilities, and the entire process of obtaining a passport was completed with ease and comfort.

Citizens thanked Mohsin Naqvi for establishing the passport office at the NADRA Center. The Interior Minister also met with the staff present at the passport counters. It is important to note that the passport office at the NADRA Center on Peco Road will operate in 2 shifts, allowing citizens to apply for passports until 11 PM. Interior Minister was briefed about the operations of the passport office established at the NADRA Center. The DG Passport, DG NADRA Lahore, and relevant officials were also present on this occasion.
