MNA Asia Azim Chaudhry introduces four bills including the Pakistan Penal Code (Amendment) Bill, the ICT Criminal Prosecution Service Bill, in National assembly

ISLAMABAD, April 18 (SABAH): Member of the National Assembly, Asia Azim Chaudhry, on Tuesday introduced four bills including the Pakistan Penal Code (Amendment) Bill, the ICT Criminal Prosecution Service Bill, the Pakistan Red Crescent Society Bill and the Islamabad State Lawyers Compensation Bill. Presented in the National Assembly which were handed over to the respective committees.
In the Lower House, Asia Azeem introduced two bills related to the federal capital, Islamabad, regarding the remuneration of state lawyers and the Criminal Prosecution Service. He presented the ICT Criminal Prosecution Service Bill 2023 in the House. Asia Azim moved that the bill 2023 be allowed to be introduced for the establishment of the Criminal Prosecution Service in the federal capital Islamabad.
After the motion was approved by the House, Asia Azim presented the bill in the House. Which was handed over to the concerned committee. During the meeting, she moved that Bill 2023 be allowed to be presented in Islamabad to clarify the law on compensation of state lawyers. After the motion was approved by the House, Asia Azim presented the bill which was referred to the relevant committee.
Asia Azim also presented two more bills related to Pakistan Penal Code and Red Crescent Society in the House. He moved that a bill to further amend the Pakistan Penal Code, 1860 should be allowed to be presented. Asia Azim also presented the Pakistan Red Crescent Society Bill 2023 in the House, which was referred to the relevant committee.
