Mehmood Ahmed Saghar thanks Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for raising Kashmir-issue at world forum

ISLAMABAD, Sep 20 (SABAH): Convener All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJK and Pakistan chapter Mehmood Ahmed Saghar has extended his profound gratitude to Turkish  President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for raising the issue of Kashmir during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar while highlighting  president Erdogan’s commitment and sympathy with the people of Kashmir said that Turkey’s consistent support for the resolution of Kashmir dispute has been a source of great inspiration for the people of Kashmir. 

“The struggling people of the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir owe a debt of gratitude to president Erdogan and the people of Turkey who besides highlighting the plight of Kashmiris have strongly condemned India’s illegal occupation and the atrocities being inflicted upon the people of Kashmir by Indian forces” he said.

Mehmood Ahmed Saghar expressed the hope that the world leaders would follow President Erdogan and support his call for an early and amicable solution of the lingering Kashmir dispute.
