Maulana Fazalur Rehman while telephonically contacting Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh condoles over martyrdom of his sons & grandsons
ISLAMABAD, April 17 (SABAH): Jamiat Ulemae Islam-Fazl (JUIF) Chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman while telephonically contacting Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh has condoled over the martyrdom of his sons and grandsons.
According to JUI-F spokesperson, Allama Rashid Mehmood Soomro held meeting with Ismail Haniyeh in Qatar and presented Maulana Fazalur Rehman condolence letter.
During the telephonic contact, JUI-F spokesperson said, Maulana Fazalur Rehman prayed for the martyrs. He further said that Pakistani people feel pain of their Palestinian brothers, adding “during our gatherings we would expose Israeli aggressiveness.”
JUI-F chief further said that international community especially Muslim world’s silence over martyrdoms and injures of thousands of Palestinians is distressing. He said, “we stand by Palestinians in their freedom movement.” Ismail Haniyeh particularly thanked Maulana Fazalur Rehman for taking up voice of Palestinians in international conference held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He also thanked workers of JUI-F and Pakistani people for standing by suppressed people of Gaza.
It is worth mentioning here that Hamas head Ismail Haniyeh’s three sons and grandsons were martyred on the occasion of Eidul Fitr on April 10 by the bombardment of Israel.
