Marriyum emphasizes on curriculum’s future planning
ISLAMABAD, June 29 (SABAH): Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Marriyum Aurangzeb has stressed on futuristic planning of curriculum keeping in view the market demands of modern age.
She said this while addressing a ceremony at Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The minister urged the government sector universities to acquaint and compete with the world evolving in Higher education.
She urged the students to promote positive image of Pakistan, culture and heritage through performing arts in this age of digital media.
In this context, the minister offered the platform of Ministry of Information and Technology to connect the youth to the universities abroad to polish their skills on scientific lines.
The minister called for teaching constitution in educational institutions to acquaint the students about constitutional matters and democratic norms.
Marriyum urged to devise students assessment system compatible to the international standards.
The minister for information said the Quaid-e-Azamuniversity is ranked among top universities of the world.
She said that Quaid-e-Azam University has combined different cultures and values reflecting all traditional colors of the country.
Addressing the ceremony, Minister for Federal Education, RanaTanvirHussain urged the need of drawing special attention towards skilled education.
