Marriyum Aurangzeb urges Imran Khan to apologize to nation for playing havoc with the country

ISLAMABAD, Jan 03 (SABAH): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has asked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan to apologize to the people of Pakistan for the havocs he wreaked on the country during his tenure instead of issuing white papers.

Talking to media persons in Islamabad on Tuesday, Marriyum Aurangzeb slammed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman for issuing a so-called White Paper on the coalition government’s performance and urged him to instead issue White paper on his own performance during last four years.

She said no white paper can whiten former prime minister Imran Khan’s black thefts and corruption. She mentioned with concern that the PTI is in power in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since last nine years but could not make a single institution to counter terrorism and today terrorism is sprouting there once again posing a challenge to whole country.

The minister said when the PML-N government was ended in 2018, the country was progressing with a stable economic outlook and all China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects running successfully.

She lamented that Imran Khan not only compromised country’s stance on major fronts like Kashmir issue but also destroyed the economy. Marriyum Aurangzeb said Imran Khan left the country at the brink of default and the incumbent government through tough decisions is trying to put it back on path of stability.

She said while the government is working tirelessly to take the country out of the conundrum Imran Khan put it into, he is here with a white paper to hoodwink the people.
