Marriage boxes among the 30 deserving families distributed by Alkhidmat Women Wing Trust Lahore
LAHORE, June 14 (SABAH): Marriage boxes among the 30 deserving families were distributed by Alkhidmat Women Wing Trust Lahore.
In this regard the ceremony was organized at the Punjab Society’s Community Centre. The marriage boxes include fancy and simple suits of bridge and groom, jewellery, dinner set, trunk, water cooler, kitchen items, beddings and other necessary household use items. The ceremony was attended by Incharge Community Services Uzma Muhammad Ali, Rukhsana Arshad, Sumera Sarwar, Zarqa Butt, Tallat Khan and others. The mothers of the deserving girls received the marriage boxes.
While addressing on the occasion Incharge Community Services Uzma Muhammad Ali said that along with performing other social services, Alkhidmat Foundation is also helping the parents in marriages of their daughters.
The speakers while talking about the religious aspect of “Nikkah” said that it is the Sunnah of all the Prophets. The speakers said that the “Nikkah” saves the human from misdirection. The speakers said that the “Nikkah” is not only the relationship between the husband and wife but also unites the two families, which further strengthens the relationships. The speakers said that the “Nikkah” of the daughters of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) were solemnized in the mosque.
At the end of the ceremony the food was also distributed among the participants.
