Majority of the Pakistanis 76% announce to accept the result of general elections going to be held tomorrow: IPSOS Survey
ISLAMABAD, Feb 07 (SABAH): Majority of the Pakistanis 76 percent have announced to accept the result of the general elections going to be held tomorrow (Thursday) in the country. Only 7 percent are not likely to accept the results and 17 percent remain unsure.
An Ipsos Pakistan Pulse Survey has been conducted regarding the Acceptability of 2024 General Elections Results from 25th to 30th January 2024.
The demographic analysis reveals that acceptability increases with age and rurality. Sindh and Islamabad residents are least likely to accept the election results.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) voters and non-voters/abstainers, expressing lesser acceptability of election results which is 67 percent and 56 percent respectively. 87 percent Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) voters have announced to accept the results of the elections. 94 percent voters of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), 87 percent voters of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan have announced to accept the results of the elections; meanwhile 91 voters of the TLP have announced to accept the results of the elections.
