Lt. Gen Sardar Hassan Azhar Hayat posted as Commander Peshawar Corps, Lt. Gen Faiz Hamid posted as Commander Bahawalpur corps: ISPR

RAWALPINDI, August 08 (SABAH): Lieutenant General Sardar Hassan Azhar Hayat has been posted as Commander Peshawar Corps.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Faiz Hamid has been posted as Commander Bahawalpur Corps. Lieutenant General Khalid Zia has been posted as Military Secretary Pakistan Army.

It is worth mentioning here that last week, former director-general of the ISPR Lieutenant General Asif Ghafoor was appointed Corps Commander Quetta.

According to the ISPR, Lt. Gen Asif Ghafoor was appointed to replace his predecessor, Lt. Gen Sarfraz Ali who — along with five other Pakistan Army personnel — embraced martyrdom last Tuesday after an aviation helicopter of the army crashed in Balochistan.
