Loan of International Monetary Fund is not debt but the poison, which govt is giving to the nation: Sirajul Haq
RAWALPINDI, Feb 12 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that the US slaves are dancing on the direction of IMF, adding that loan of International Monetary Fund is not debt but the poison, which government is giving to the nation. Sirajul Haq said that we reject Rs 170 billion new taxes or any mini-budget, adding that the rulers should listen that the poor people are not ready to present sacrifice anymore. He said that the parties who have secured loan should pay it back and present sacrifice. He said that 23rd program of the IMF is continuing, it should be informed what improvement has occurred. He said that Almighty Allah made Pakistan an atomic power but due to these rulers Pakistan has become fun for the world.
This was stated by Emir JI Sirajul Haq while addressing the participants of the three-day Awami March against inflation and the government’s anti-poor policies at Liaqat Bagh Rawalpindi on Sunday. A large number of people attended the gathering.
Sirajul Haq said the troika comprising of PDM, People’s Party and PTI is equally responsible for inflation and destruction of the economy, adding that play is being played with the country from last 75 years. Sirajul Haq said that we lost half country due to the suppressor landlords, feudal lords and corrupt capitalists, adding that the improvement will not come even if PDM, PPP and PTI will continue ruling the country for next 100 years, adding that they have made the country bankrupt economically and morally. He said that today the politics of abuses is being transferred to the youth and all this is done by these ruling parties. Sirajul Haq said that the nation should rise against the suppression and should support Jamaat-e-Islami. He said that the courts and institutions could not hold the rulers accountable, adding that the nation should hold the suppressors and looters accountable with the power of their vote.
The PDM, the PPP and the PTI, he added, were the parties of those who stashed their money in foreign accounts and made shell companies. They, he said, always sought sacrifices from the masses, making false claims and telling lies to the public.
The JI chief said the troika failed to bring relief to the masses despite their tall claims and promises. The ruling parties, he said, were responsible for the miseries of the public. He said the PDM and the PPP had taken out long marches against inflation before coming to power in April last year. After making government, he said, the unity government turned the life of the people into hell.
The PPP and the PML-N, he said, have been in power for decades and the PTI has also joined the ruling club in 2013, as the party ruled the KPK for almost 10 years. “The troika should tell the people what they had done for the betterment of masses so far. Show your performance instead of making more claims.”
He said the incumbent government’s policies were the continuation of the PTI. The trio, he said, was the agent of the status quo as their economic policies revolved around the debt-servicing. He said the JI would fight for the rights of the people and was ready to challenge the politics of the trio. He announced the JI would further expedite the movement for the rights of the people in coming days and hold rallies in across the country.
Sirajul Haq said that the weather is cold but the sentiments of the participants of the gathering are hot, adding that we have not come out for personal interests and securing power and abolition of cases from NAB, adding that we have come out for masses, laborers, farmers, unemployed, students and for protection of the mothers, sisters and daughters. Sirajul Haq said that we have come out for the golden and bright future of Pakistan, adding that it is a great jihad.
Sirajul Haq said that the government wants to kill all the people economically without the use of the atom bomb by the enemy, adding that what will be the future of the country, adding that the degree holder youth are running, adding that the man has reached at the moon and making progress towards mars but my brave nation is running after the truck of flour while holding identity card. Sirajul Haq said that the children instead of studying are running after the truck for securing flour, adding that my mothers, sisters and daughters are running after the truck of flour while holding identity cards in their hands.
Sirajul Haq said that prime minister has asked the people to eat one meal a day and have single cup of tea, someone says be patient as the peace of mind will be in the grave, adding that who destroyed the agriculture and industrial Pakistan, who looted the Toshakhan, who looted the Pakistan’s kitty, who handed over Kashmir to India, who handed over Dr. Aafiya Siddiqui to the United States, who released the Raymond Davis the killer of Pakistanis, who released attacker Abinanad, adding that there is need to ask from these people that you have been imposed on the country from last 75 years, what you have delivered, US slavery, IMF’s dictation, dancing on the direction of World Bank, adding that all these are toys and their keys are in their hands. He said that these people do what is ordered by their master. He said that the rulers have given the gift of corruption, they spread illiteracy and given gift of poverty.
Sirajul Haq said that federal ministers were involved in medicine, flour and sugar crises, adding that these people are sometimes in People’s Party, sometimes in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and sometimes in Muslim League but their character is the same, adding that these people only carryout the politics for making money and increase in their properties.
Deputy Chiefs of the JI Liaqat Baloch, Mian Muhammad Aslam, Deputy Secretary General Azhar Iqbal Hassan, Secretary Information Qaiser Sharif, Emir JI Northern Punjab Dr. Tariq Saleem, Emir JI Rawalpindi Arif Shirazi, Emir JI Islamabad Nasrullah Randhawa and others were also present on the occasion.
