Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik appointed as the Director General ISI: ISPR

RAWALPINDI, Sep 23 (SABAH): Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik has been appointed as the Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

According to the statement issued by ISPR, Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik will take charge on the 30th of this month.

Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik is currently serving as an Adjutant General at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.

Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik has previously commanded the Infantry Division in Balochistan and the Infantry Brigade in Waziristan.

He has also received a Sword of Honor in his course and served as the chief instructor at National Defense University (NDU), as well as an instructor at Command and Staff College Quetta.

Lieutenant General Asim Malik is a graduate of Fort Leavenworth and Royal College of Defence Studies.
