Liaqat Baloch, Saad Rafique discuss no-confidence motion

LAHORE, Feb 25 (SABAH): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President and former railways minister Khawaja Muhammad Saad Rafique met Liaquat Baloch, Deputy Emir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and President Political Affairs Committee, at his residence in Muslim Town on Friday.

A statement issued by the JI media cell, stated that both the leaders discussed ongoing political situation and opposition’s proposed no-confidence motion during the meeting.

Liaqat Baloch and Saad Rafique agreed that the government failed to address the problems facing the country. The country’s economy had almost collapsed due to ill-conceived policies of the ruling party, they said.

Liaqat Baloch told the former minister that JI will decide on the matter of whether to support or not the opposition motion against prime minister after consultation. He said the JI will not support any extra-constitutional move. He said bringing no-trust against the prime minister was constitutional right of the opposition parties.
