Liaqat Baloch condemns court’s decision of deporting two young Kashmiris

LAHORE, Sep 14 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and former parliamentary leader in National Assmebly Liaqat Baloch has said that they condemn the decision of the court to deport two young Kashmiris.

While severely condemning the local court’s decision of deporting two Kashmiris by declaring them Indian citizens who entered from Occupied Kashmir into Gilgit-Baltistan, Liaqat Baloch said that Gilgit’s local session court decision is very worrisome and negation of United Nations resolutions regarding people’s right of movement across the border, as well as a clear violation of State policy of Pakistan, spanning over 75 years. This aforementioned decision of the local court will also trigger the suspicions according to which Pakistan and India had reached a formula on division of Kashmir while sorting out some mutual matters.

Liaqat Baloch termed the restriction on across the Line of Control (LoC) movement of Kashmiri people a treason with the blood of Kashmiri martyrs. Any solution of Kashmir dispute without the will and participation of Kashmiri people will be unacceptable not only to Kashmiri masses but also to Pakistani people, he added.

Liaqat Baloch demanded of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Foreign Minister and Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan to take notice of the aforementioned matter and stop the implementation on the decision of Gilgit’s session court. Without any further delay, these two youngsters should be shifted to Muzaffarabad’s refugee camp along with other Kashmiri refugees to reside there, he further demanded.

He termed the culpable negligence and escape based on cowardice of federal, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan governments a great debacle. He said that the actions of fascist Modi are devastating for the State of Jammu and Kashmir and a clear deviation from the viewpoint of international organizations.

Pakistan’s political and national leadership due to infighting among one another was not capable of reaching a unified national strategy which is why Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and collation government have become united on bargaining of Kashmir.
