Law will take its course against those resorted to violent acts in recent days in different parts of the country: Sherry Rehman
ISLAMABAD, May 13 (SABAH): Minister for Climate Change Senator Sherry Rehman has said law will take its course against those resorted to violent acts in recent days in different parts of the country.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Saturday, Sherry Rehman said the government will not allow the saboteurs succeed in their nefarious designs. She said the attacks on military installations as well as ransacking of public and private properties were pre planned.
She said the conduct of PTI is not political and democratic in nature rather it is trying to stoke anarchy in the country. She regretted that the PTI Chairman considers himself above the law and constitution.
Sherry Rehman said Pakistan today is faced with multidimensional challenges but the PTI Chairman is bent upon causing further instability in the country. She said Imran Khan is neither sensitive of the problems of the masses nor does he has any program for their welfare.
In his remarks, Minister of State Faisal Karim Kundi said the recent audio leaks clearly reveal the whole planning behind the violent acts. He said the democratic forces and the whole nation stand behind their armed forces who have given immense sacrifices in the war on terrorism.
He said Pakistan People’s Party fully endorses the PDM’s decision to hold a peaceful gathering outside the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He said the PPP will participate in it.
