Late Maulana Ghulam Nabi Nowsheri sacrificed everything for the freedom movement of Kashmir: Syed Salahuddin

MUZAFFARABAD, June 25 (SABAH): Chairman of United Jihad Council Jammu and Kashmir and Emir Hizbul Mujahideen Syed Salahuddin Ahmed has paid tribute to the late Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Maulana Ghulam Nabi Nowsheri and said that where the late Maulana Nowsheri was a brilliant personality, there he sacrificed everything for the uplift and freedom movement of Kashmir.

Syed Salahuddin Ahmed expressed these views in separate condolence meetings of the United Jihad Council and Hizb Command Council. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Syed Salahuddin Ahmed. Naib Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Occupied Jammu and Kashmir ‘Foreign Affairs and Hitah Al-Ghathiya.

Addressing the separate condolence meetings of the United Jihad Council and the Hizb Command Council on the death of Maulana Ghulam Nabi Nowsheri, Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said that Maulana Nowsheri not only challenged the false forces and their agents in occupied Jammu and Kashmir but When the armed struggle started in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir to end the occupation of India, the late Maulana became a part of this great and eternal struggle without any pause. By visiting Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, he played an important role in the education and training of Mujahideen. He assisted people financially.

Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said that the late Maulana has played his role regarding representing Kashmir issue at the OIC, Rabita Al-Islami and other important forums. Because of his honesty and boldness, he had to bear the hardships of prison many times, but the condition of this great warrior never deteriorated, he added.

He said that the late Maulana was suffering from kidney disease for more or less six years. He had to bear the separation of his wife first during the journey of migration. He said today Maulana himself appeared before the Lord in the condition that he had dedicated everything in his life for the Islamic movement, adding that he was undoubtedly the embodiment of sacrifice.

Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said the founding leadership including Syed Ali Geelani and Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai passed away in the jails and here in the base camp, leaders like Maulana Nowsheri, Syed Muzaffar Shah, Dr. Alaa and Mushtaq Ahmad Wani remained committed to the mission of Azadi Kashmir till the end. He said the best way to pay homage to all the leaders is that across the Kashmiri nation and leadership, the Pakistani nation and the Pakistani leadership to fulfill the mission of these leaders. He added they will continue to struggle with all their strength until the goal is achieved and will continue to take all possible measures.
