LAHORE, Nov 08 (SABAH): Addressing political electoral conferences in Islamabad, Sargodha, Gujranwala and Faisalabad, Deputy Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, former parliamentary leader Liaqat Baloch said that the slogan of illegitimate government, false tsunami and change has failed after the 2018 elections. The people have been subjected to great torment. The government has become a security risk for national security, democracy, the constitution and the parliamentary system. The status quo has deteriorated and good governance has disappeared. On every front, incompetence, mismanagement and irrationality have eroded the government’s writ and reputation.

Liaqat Baloch said that Imran Khan was directly responsible for the economic catastrophe. In 90 months, the process of weakening false claims, sentimentality, rudeness, abusing and weakening of social, Islamic and ideological foundations has been intensified. The whole nation is disgusted and rebellious with inflation, unemployment, lawlessness and the worst form of governance. The constant rise in fuel, electricity, debt, corruption, bribery has put an unbearable burden on the cost of production.

Liaqat Baloch said that Jamaat-e-Islami will continue its struggle for accountables of the Panama Scandal, Pandora Papers, looters of national wealth and mega scandals, debt forgivers. By protecting the corrupt mafia, Imran Sarkar has left the people destitute and handed over the people to the hoarders, sugar, flour, electricity, petrol thieves mafia. Imran Khan’s government has lost its footing. The Cold War between the government and the state institution is taking a terrible turn. Let Imran Khan resign, let the National Assembly elect a new Leader of the House, let the Assemblies complete their constitutional term.

Responding to questions from journalists, Liaqat Baloch said that Jamaat-e-Islami would continue its struggle from its platform against inflation, unemployment, lawlessness and government measures that contradict the Qur’an and Sunnah. Students will march towards Islamabad on November 17 and youth on November 28. Every constitutional mechanism will be supported to overthrow the government. Any action / adventure above the constitution would be a disaster for the country.
