Laborers & farmers destroyed during the tenure of PTI govt: Ameerul Azim
LAHORE, Jan 29 (SABAH): Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameerul Azim has said that laborers and farmers were destroyed during the tenure of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, adding that a large number of people stated sit-ins for the resolution of the problems of Karachi and Gwadar. He said that the privatization of the national institutions is not acceptable at any condition, adding that the privatization of the power companies should not be done. He said that JI is standing shoulder to shoulder with the farmers.
This was stated by Ameerul Azim while addressing the Central Executive Committee of the National Labor Federation at Mansoorah. Central President NLF Shamsur Rehman Swati, President Railway Prem Union Sheikh Muhammad Anwar Khair Muhammad Tunio and others were also present on the occasion.
Ameerul Azim said that JI will stage 100 sit-ins from 6th February against the corrupt system, adding that the final and decisive 101st sit-in against the anti-masses policies of the government will be staged in Islamabad.
He said that lives of every segment of society have become worse, adding that laborers, farmers and low class government and private employees have been badly affected. Ameerul Azim said that the resolution of the problems lies in the supremacy of law and implementation of Islamic system. He said that JI is struggles from last many decades to make the country cradle of Quran and Sunnah, adding that with the Blessings of Almighty Allah we will certainly succeed in our goal.
