Khaled Mashal presented the name of Yahya Sinwar after apologizing with the leadership of Hamas: Dr. Musa Abu Marzook

DOHA, August 08 (SABAH): Dr. Musa Abu Marzook, the head of the international relations office of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, has said that there is an internal system within the party that runs the movement with all its components and its Shura Council is the guardian and responsible for its rules and regulations.

Abu Marzook added in a statement that “Ismail Haniyeh played a key role in his presidency. He was an example to be emulated at the national and public level”. He explained that “the rules of the Jamaat say that Khaled Mashal or his brother Yahya Al-Sinwar will take over the post. However, Mashal abdicated the position and nominated his brother Abu Ibrahim (al-Sinwar) to head the movement.

Abu Marzook pointed out that “Israel’s decision to target the party’s leaders has no impact on Hamas’s governing principles, as it is a strong party and has deep roots. He added, “The iron swords wielded by the enemy have failed against Al-Sinwar’s iron determination. He asserted that “Al-Sinwar’s election is a strong message against all Israeli plans”. “Al-Sinwar is leading the war and leading the Gaza Strip,” Abu Marzook said.

According to Abu Marzook, “The prisoner exchange agreement is a matter of decision of an institutional council. Al-Sinwar participated in this decision before his appointment”. He said that there is no individual decision in Hamas.

He said that in this war, there is neither a soft leader nor a hard leader. According to Abu Marzook, we all decide what is in the interest of our people and the movement. Abu Marzook said that Al-Sinwar will lead this war skillfully and the whole world will see it. The Israelis have failed to rebuild the leadership of Hamas, he added.
