Kashmiri people will continue their struggle till the achievement of freedom: Syed Salahuddin Ahmed

MUZAFFARABAD, Nov 5 (SABAH): Chairman Muttahida United Council and Chief of the Hizbul Mujahideen Syed Salahuddin Ahmed has said that Kashmiri people will continue their struggle till the achievement of freedom.

After the Second World War, the mass-killing of Kashmiris was a major incident and added culpable silence of world powers and international organization is alarming. In the province of Jammu, millions of Muslims were killed by India which could never be forgotten, he said, and added it is a black point on the face of India.

Syed Salahuddin Ahmed expressed these views while addressing a special meeting of United Jihad Council on Sunday. In the light of sacrifices made by Kashmiris, Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said that we should always be loyal to their sacrifices and continued no one could be allowed to exploit these sacrifices. The extremists which committed slaughter of Muslims on Nov 6, 1947, the same powers are part of the current government of India. He said it is part of government of India which it committed unconstitutional and illegal act on Aug 5, 2019.

Still majority of Muslims is being tried to convert into minority, he said, and added the same is being repeated done in 1947; however, these extremists should clearly know that now people of Kashmir are determined to foil such malicious designs of the enemy. On Nov 6, 1947, more than 0.3 million Muslims were badly killed which is also a blot on the history of the Muslims.

This mass-killing was indeed first step towards converting majority into minority, he said, and added they were killed through a conspiracy of sending them to Pakistan. He said for this purpose they were called Police Lines Jammu to kill them and added thousands of women’s were molested.
