Karachi Rights Movement has expanded & become a movement of people of entire country: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman

KARACHI, Sep 10 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that the rights movement of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi has expanded and become a movement for the rights of the people of the entire country. He said that expensive electricity and gas, increasing inflation and the burden of taxes on the salaried class is the problem of entire country.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed these views while addressing the people and workers of the area at a big camp organized in connection with the membership campaign in Al Hasan Chowk Nazimabad.

He said that there should not be relief of two months in Punjab, but the basic tariff of electricity should be reduced in the entire country, the rulers should end their luxury, rein in the IPPs. He warned if the government does not ensure the implementation of the agreement, they will announce a 3-day strike, long march and then a boycott of electricity bills.

He said the People’s Party and MQM together destroyed Karachi, adding people’s Party has captured the powers and resources of the local bodies, with the connivance of the Election Commission. He said the local elections and the mayorship were captured, MQM could not win a polling station in the general elections, but it was imposed through Form 47.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said the people of Nazimabad deserve tribute, who made Jamaat-e-Islami representative Wajeeh Hasan a member of Sindh Assembly but he was also defeated through Form 47. He said that Jamaat-e-Islami has created a national agenda to solve the real problems of the people and based on this, public communication and membership campaign has been started across the country, men and women, young people should become members of Jamaat-e-Islami, become strong and be a part of the struggle to get rid of this ruling group that has tied the country and the nation to foreign debts. .
