Justice Qazi Faez Isa questions legitimacy of talks with terrorists
ISLAMABAD, Feb 01 (SABAH): Supreme Court of Pakistan’s senior most judge Justice Qazi Faez Isa while reacting to ghastly suicide attack on a Police Lines’ mosque at Peshawar remarked that why discussions were being conducted with the terrorists.
Whilst the course of hearing of a case, Justice Qazi Faez Isa questioned that how long, “we will be afraid of terrorists. He warned that today the terrorist will kill two individuals and tomorrow they will murder another five persons.
He stated, “I don’t know what kind of society we are living in. A judge issued a report on a terror related incident but it was thrown in cash. He further remarked that one judge was killed but here in this land of our no one cares.
On Monday last, a suicide attack on a mosque in Police Lines area of Peshawar claimed at least 100 lives and injured over 150 others. The suicide bomber, who was standing in the first row when Zuhr prayers were being offered in the mosque, blew himself up. The blast was powerful enough that a part of the mosque caved in, leaving several worshippers stranded under the rubble.
