JKPLF Spokesperson Muhammad Umar says 26th Jan, 2024, will be marked as a Black Day in IIOJ&K


SRINAGAR, Jan 20 (SABAH): Muhammad Umar, Spokesman of the Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League, has said that 26th January, 2024, will be marked as a Black Day in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) to emphasise upon the world that parts of the State had been forcibly and illegally Occupied by India for the last 75 years, while the United Nation’s resolutions on Kashmir continue to remain unimplemented.

Muhammad Umar said that since the people of Jammu and Kashmir had never accepted Claim by India on the State, therefore, the people of the region wouldn’t join the celebrations on India’s Republic Day as before and all shops and business centres will mark the day as Black.

He said that the Kashmiris living in different parts of the world will hoist Black flags and impress upon the UN to conduct plebiscite to ascertain wishes of the people with regard to their future.
