JKLF saddened over the sad demise of maternal aunt of Saleem Haroon: Muhammad Rafiq Dar
ISLAMABAD, Jan 12 (SABAH): Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chief spokesman, Muhammad Rafiq Dar has expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the death of maternal aunt of party’s vice chairman Saleem Haroon. After a weeks long brief illness, she breathed her last yesterday early in the morning at her ancestral residence at Nawabazar, Srinagar Kashmir, the spokesman added.
In a statement issued on Friday, the party spokesman informed that on this sorrowful occasion the entire party leadership, friends and colleagues extended their heartfelt condolences to Saleem Haroon and the bereaved family.
The JKLF spokesman said that she was a very nice, sober, pious and sincere lady, and that she had rendered tremendous sacrifices during the current freedom movement.
The spokesman termed her death as a great loss to the family, in general, and to Saleem Haroon, in particular, as he has lost an aunt that would always bestow motherly love on to him. JKLF stands with him and with the family on this occasion, he added.
The party leadership prayed to Almighty Allah for magfirah and grant of Jannat-ul-Firdous for the departed soul, and patience to the bereaved family that includes her husband, son, two daughters, Saleem Haroon and others.
