JI’s MNA Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali submits resolution with NA Secretariat to express solidarity with flood victims


ISLAMABAD, September 2 (SABAH): Jamaat-e-Islami’s Member of National Assembly, Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali has submitted a resolution with the National Assembly Secretariat on Friday to express solidarity with all those families affected from the floods and offer prayers for all the martyrs.

The resolution stated, “80% area from Chitral to Karachi and Gwadar to Khyber was badly affected by the recent rains and catastrophic floods wherein ripen crops were destroyed and formers all across the country were left bankrupt.”

The resolution further states, “This House demands of the government of Pakistan that agricultural loans received from all the schedules be waived off. Lower District Chitral and Upper District Chitral have been declared as calamity-stricken districts and all the agricultural loans taken by people of this area be extended an amnesty.” “This matter be approved for discussion in the House and prompt action be taken on this matter,” the resolution added.
