JI to start nationwide election campaign from Feb 27 while holding 2023 convention at Convention Center Islamabad: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, Feb 15 (SABAH): Deputy Chief  of Jamaat-e-Islami and Chairman Central Election Cell Liaqat Baloch announced that Jamaat-e-Islami will start nationwide election campaign from February 27 while holding 2023 convention at Convention Center Islamabad.

Jamaat-e-Islami’s manifesto will be announced and Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Sirajul Haq will announce the election strategy. Candidates of National Provincial Assembly from Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, women, youth and officials of Jamaat-e-Islami election affairs will participate in the convention of February 27 Convention Center. Representatives of minorities, farmers, workers, traders, industrialists will also participate. An administrative committee has been established headed by Emir Jamaat-e-Islami North Punjab.

Liaqat Baloch, while addressing the Mansoorah Central Consultative Meeting, said that since “Margai Mehengai” March, Jamaat-e-Islami has been protesting against inflation, unemployment, price hike, lawlessness and excessive increase in production cost. Jamaat-e-Islami is the party that cares for the welfare and the suffering of the people. The struggle against inflation and unemployment will be intensified. Military rulers, PPP, Muslim League, PTI, MQM are responsible for the economic disaster. Incompetence, corruption, bad governance of the ruling class has become a big burden and security risk for the nation.

Liaqat Baloch said in response to the questions of the journalists that the coalition government is erecting obstacles in the way of the constitution, democracy and electoral democratic rights of the people to protect their interests. Imran Khan is the third most popular leader of Pakistani politics, but despite his popularity, he has played a negative role in running his party despite coming to power and giving good governance to the opposition, for the stability of the constitution, democracy, elections and parliamentary system. There is no difference between Bilawal House, Jati Umrah and Bani Gala style of politics. All three have disappointed the people, women and youth. Jamaat-e-Islami is an organized, democratic, public-serving party of the country based on trust and honesty with principles of Islam and people-friendly party.
