JI J&K categorically disowns & disassociates itself from BJP-backed panel & newly launched political party associated with it

SRINAGAR, Feb 25 (SABAH): Jamaat-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir has categorically disowned and disassociated itself from the BJP-backed panel and the newly launched political party associated with it.

Spokesperson Jamaat-e-Islami J&K Peer Naseebudin Shah in a statement said that our organization remains committed to its core principles and ideology, which stand in direct contrast to any alignment with forces that do not represent the aspirations and values of the people we serve.

Peer Naseebudin Shah said that we also want to bring to public attention that a notorious individual, Shameema Ji from Pulwama, is actively working for intelligence agencies and playing a divisive role in misleading people. Any attempts by such elements to associate Jamaat-e-Islami with their activities are completely false and intended to create confusion.

Peer Naseebudin Shah said that Jamaat-e-Islami has no involvement, direct or indirect, in the activities, decisions, or political ambitions of this panel or its affiliated party. We urge the public to remain vigilant against such deceptive tactics and reaffirm our commitment to Islamic principles, justice, and the upliftment of society, independent of any external influence that contradicts our mission.

He said that the Jamaat-e-Islami believes in peaceful and legal means, but due to the ban, it has ceased all its activities. The real leadership of Jamaat, including Amir-e-Jamaat Dr. Hameed Fayaz and Political Bureau Chief Advocate Zahid Ali Lone has been languishing in jail for many years.
