Jemima Goldsmith appeals to give donations to Alkhdimat Foundation Pakistan for flood victims


LONDON, August 31 (SABAH): Jemima Goldsmith, the former wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief and former premier Imran Khan, appealed for giving donations to Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan for flood affectees in Pakistan.

Jemima appealed to people to give their flood relief donations to the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governments’ banks.

In a Twitter thread, Jemima Goldsmith, while sharing the horrific video of the floods in Swat, wrote that one-third of Pakistan is submerged in water, and 33 million people (one out of 7 Pakistanis) have been affected. So far, more than 1,100 have died including children. Due to the floods over 1 million animals have died and crops present on hundreds and thousands of acres have been destroyed. She appealed to people and her followers to send donations to Pakistan.

Jemima wrote that Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is engaged in rehabilitation and relief work in all flood-affected areas. Jemima shared the details of the Alkhidmat Foundation’s website and bank account in her tweet. Moreover, for handing over donations, she also shared the account numbers of relief fund of the government of Khyber Pakhtuhkhwa and shared account numbers of the government of Punjab.
