Jammu Kashmir Self Determination Movement Int’l recognized at Pendle Curry Night Award Ceremony
LONDON, Dec 04 (SABAH): The Jammu Kashmir Self Determination Movement International (JKSDMI) delegation, led by Founding Chairman Raja Najabat Hussain Sitara-I-Pakistan, attended the prestigious Award Ceremony and Curry Night organized by the Mayor of Pendle, Councillor Mohammad Aslam Jaorah, in Colne Nelson. The event celebrated community contributions and brought together notable personalities, including Former Member of Parliament Andrew Stephenson, local Mayors, and Councillors.
The JKSDMI delegation included distinguished leaders such as Former Lord Mayor of Manchester Councillor Yasmine Dar, Chairperson of the International Lobby on Kashmir; Harry Boota, Administration Director of JKSDMI; Zeshan Araf, Chairman of the JKSDMI Youth Wing; and Raja Javed Tariq, General Secretary of JKSDMI UK.
During the event, the Mayor of Pendle, Councillor Mohammad Aslam Jaorah, presented a Special Award to Raja Najabat Hussain Sitara-I-Pakistan, in recognition of his outstanding services to the community and his unwavering commitment to the Kashmir cause.
The event served as a platform to honor individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to their communities. It also highlighted the tireless efforts of JKSDMI in advocating for the right to self-determination for the people of Jammu and Kashmir on both national and international levels.
This acknowledgment further strengthens JKSDMI’s resolve to continue its mission of raising awareness about the Kashmir issue and fostering unity and cooperation within local and global communities.
