Jamaat-e-Islami’s sit-in has lit the lamp of hope: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman
RAWALPINDI, Aug 8 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that the demands for public relief are both clear and blunt, there is no unconstitutional demand, our pacifism should not be considered as weakness.
He said for the government and the state, this sit-in is an inscription on the wall. They are repeatedly warning that the rulers will not get an airlift to escape lest it fall into the hands of the protesters, he added.
He expressed these views while addressing the participants on Thursday evening. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said, “Dharna is creating a new history, Pakistan is standing at a new turning point, this dharna is being held at a time when people are suffering due to the government’s cruel policies, measures, inflation, unemployment, heavy taxes and insecurity. People were getting frustrated and worried and these frustrations were being increased.”
He said, “Disappointments spread everywhere and the participants of the sit-in deserve congratulations for giving hope to the nation, when there was despair in the country,

Emir Jamaat-e-Islami said that these rulers will put the nation under the strictest and permanent sanctions of the IMF.
He said it is the same class that accepted American slavery, took land and property from British imperialism,
adding we have given a national agenda to end the feudal system, which includes democracy, constitution, education, health, food security, empowered youth and safe families.
