Jamaat-e-Islami would lay foundation of safe, prosperous Pakistan on February 8 through vote: Sirajul Haq
LOWER DIR, Dec 26 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq has said that Jamaat-e-Islami would lay foundation of safe and prosperous Pakistan on February 8 through vote.
Sirajul Haq expressed these views during corner meetings at Lower Dir, constituency NA-6. He stressed upon the Election Commission of Pakistan to stop investing huge money by the candidates for winning during elections and people should reject political actors and bring real leadership forward. He said in one Pakistan, two Pakistan could not run.
He said the political parties imposed on the country since seven decades gave nothing to people except inflation and unemployment. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) enjoyed rule, he said, and added during their period economy of the country was destroyed. During the governments of these parties, institutions were weakened, he said and if the same parties come into power again the situation will remain as it is.
Emir Jamaat-e-Islami further said the parties have been exploiting the masses since last 75 years, adding only faces are changing but not the people. People of same folks are coming into governments once and again, he added. There is no difference in their policies, he said, and added this was the reason that they didn’t support Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) as their agenda was not welfare of people or ending corruption but absolving their cases. He said Feb 8 is the day of getting rid of cruelty, injustice, disorder and inflation.
Meanwhile, a delegation headed by Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Kashmir Dr Muhammad Mushtaq Khan called on Sirajul Haq. During the meeting, he said that they would fight for the freedom of Kashmir and Palestine till the last drop of their blood. He said due to coward leaders, Ummah is being let down each and everywhere.
Sirajul Haq said that Jamaat-e-Islami is waging a war against corrupt political mafia as it is already tested by inflation, unemployment and disorder. After coming into power, Jamaat-e-Islami will get the country rid of the slavery of the International Monetary Fund and the US.
“If the president of the US can visit Israel for many times then why the rulers of Islamic countries could not visit Gaza. If I would have been prime minister of the country, I would surely visit Gaza,” he said. On this occasion, political situation of Azad Kashmir and Pakistan also came under discussion.
Sirajul Haq stressed upon people of Pakistan to show their confidence in Jamaat-e-Islami then would put their efforts for freedom of Kashmir and Palestine, adding Pakistan would be made a super power. He said they would assist the depressed people across the world.
