Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan wins 7 provincial assembly seats
ISLAMABAD, Feb 09 (SABAH): Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan has won 7 seats of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Balochistan assemblies. Those who have won include Emir JI Karachi Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, Secretary General JI Balochistan Maulana Hidayatur Rehman Baloch, Engineer Abdul Majeed Badini, Emir JI Lower Dir Aizazul Mulk Afkari, Muhammad Farooq Farhan and others.
According to Deputy Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Azhar Iqbal Hassan, JI candidates have won from Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
Emir JI Karachi Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has won from PS-129 Karachi while securing 26,296 votes, JI candidate from PS-91 Karachi Muhammad Farooq Farhan 23499 votes, Aizazul Mulk Afkari from PK-17 Lower Dir, Haji Sardar Khan from PK- 21 Bajaur, Maulana Waheed Gull from PK-20 Bajaur, Secretary General JI Balochistan Maulana Hidayatur Rehman from PB- 24 Gwadar and Engineer Abdul Majeed Badini from PB-16 Jafrabad.
