Jamaat-e-Islami is struggling to establish justice system: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman
LAHORE, Dec 21 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that after the 26th amendment, the judiciary and judges came under the control of the rulers and the poor in the country did not get justice before as millions of cases are pending while now the situation will get worse. He said Jamaat-e-Islami is struggling to establish justice system. He said protests will continue to resolve public issues, adding we have told the government to reduce the electricity prices, otherwise they will come to the streets.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed these views while addressing the participants of the Markazi Tarbiat Gah in Mansoorah on Saturday. A large number of workers from Okara and Sahiwal participated in this regard.
He said that the workers should be ready for the big call, adding the committees should be formed at the street level. Workers of Jamaat-e-Islami should work unconditionally for the movement, he said and added the struggle of Jamaat-e-Islami is not worldly but for reward in the hereafter. Working for the supremacy of the religion of Allah Almighty is work of prophethood, he added.
No prophet will come after the Holy Prophet (SAWW), now it is the responsibility of the Ummah to work hard for the steadfastness of religion, he said. Emir Jamaat said that Jamaat-e-Islami is starting a movement from December 25 to solve the problems of farmers.
He said that there will be a million march in Islamabad on December 29 to express solidarity with the people of Palestine, adding all walks of life are requested to participate in the Million March. He said This march is against the American patronage of Israel and the silence of the rulers of Islamic countries on the ongoing atrocities in Gaza. He said we condemn the sanctions imposed on Pakistani companies by the US, adding the government should take concrete steps.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that there is a difference between Jamaat-e-Islami and other political parties as Jamaat-e-Islami wants to subordinate worldly affairs to religion. If they get power with the help and support of Allah and the support of the people, they will establish a system that will benefit the entire humanity, he remarked. The current system is exploitative and class-based and education is not available to the children of the poor here, he added.
He said that the Jamaat-e-Islami will establish such a system of justice that to a large extent people’s problems will be solved at the grassroots level. He said political parties are controlled by families, adding ordinary workers in political parties cannot advance. He said in Jamaat-e-Islami, the doors are open for everyone to move forward and people should join it.
