Jalil Abbas Jilani emphasizes the principles of friendship, cooperation & solidarity that characterize the relations b/w Pak & Iran
ISLAMABAD, Feb 12 (SABAH): Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani on Monday attended a reception hosted by the Iranian Embassy in Islamabad on occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
According to the statement issued by Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, the Foreign Minister congratulated the people and the Government of Iran on this important anniversary. He emphasized the principles of friendship, cooperation and solidarity that characterize the relations between Pakistan and Iran.
Meanwhile Caretaker Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Murtaza Solangi, has reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to strengthen bilateral relations with Iran.
He was addressing a ceremony marking the 45th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran organized by the Iranian Embassy in Islamabad on Monday. While felicitating the government and the peoples of Iran on the occasion, the Minister said Pakistan and Iran share historic brotherly relations.
He said the governments and peoples of Pakistan and Iran are well aware of the importance and benefits of friendly relations between the two countries.
Murtaza Solangi said Iran achieved numerous goals in its struggle, and is rapidly heading towards development and prosperity.
