‘Jail bharo thereek’ has become ‘doob maro tehreek’ for Imran Khan & PTI: Rana Sanaullah
FAISALABAD, Feb 26 (SABAH): Minister for Interior Affairs Rana Sanuallah Khan has said that the “jail bharo thereek” has become “doob maro tehreek” for Imran Khan and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), adding that the Imran Khan generally from 2014 and especially from last seven or eight months has not spent an even a single moment for betterment of country, for resolutions of the problems facing by country and for holding mutual negotiations regarding overall situation of the country instead he has spent whole time for creating unrest and anarchy in the country.
This was stated by Rana Sanaullah Khan while talking to media person after offering condolences with Chaudhry Kashif Randhawa on the death of his mother in Faisalabad on Sunday. Rana Sanaullah said that Imran Khan sometimes attack Islamabad, adding that Imran Khan’s formula to siege Islamabad failed on 25th May and later on he announced to carryout protest in whole country, it was also failed, later on he announced to hold public gatherings, these were too failed and later on he announced to bring sea of people, what happened on 26th November is in front of people. Rana Sanaullah said that later on Imran Khan announced to dissolve assemblies, adding that Imran Khan wants unrest in the country all the time. He said that Imran Khan wants to destabilize the country politically because he knew that if the country will remain politically destabilized it could not make progress and move forward.
Rana Sanaullah said that first Imran Khan created problems for the country during his four years long tenure and now he is making efforts all the time to further increase the problems for the country, adding that we are making efforts to bring the country out of crisis and we are hopeful that whenever the elections will be held whether in October or earlier the nation will identify this fitna and will minus him with the power of vote; otherwise he will take the nation towards any accident.
Rana Sanaullah said that total 100 or 125 people have presented their arrests in jail bharo tehreek and out of them 80 percent wanted to be released. He said that all the PTI workers detained in jail bahro tehreek have been detained for 30 days. Rana Sanaullah said that first the jails of far flung areas will be filled and later on jails of big cities will be filled, adding that the space is present Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffaragar and Shahpur after these jails will be filled the PTI workers will be detained in Lahore, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi jails.
Rana Sanaullah said that the suo moto notice should be taken regarding the audio of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and his counsel Abid Shahid Zuberi and if Parvez Elahi is wrong then he should be punished for portraying perception that he has relations with some judge and is used to got fix the cases according to their own choice. Rana Sanaullah said that until and unless the forensic or inquiry of the audio is held we are not in favor of leveling any allegation against any judge, adding that we want remedy of these things. Rana Sanaullah said that we want verification of the audio that whether it is genuine or fake.
Replying a question, Rana Sanaullah said that the accused named Naveed Bashir, who carried firing on Imran Khan is present and his statement is also present, adding that till date Imran Khan could not bring negation of the statement of Naveed Bashir. He said that Imran Khan leveled allegation against three persons including me but could not provide any evidence of meeting or telephone call with him. He said that Imran Khan could also not present any second or third person who opened firing on him. Rana Sanaullah said that there is only one attacker, he is self motivated, religiously motivated and he himself committed this act and no one is on his backing. He said that the attacker was apprehended by the PTI workers on the spot.
Replying a question, Rana Sanaullah said that the party’s parliamentary board decides about awarding tickets to candidates, adding that the parliamentary board will decide awarding ticket to him. Rana Sanaullah said that the surveys are being conducted and results of the survey are far more better then our expectations. He said that even today PML-N is in a better position in Punjab, adding that we could win more seats while changing candidates and in this regard he being the PML-N Punjab president will present his recommendations to the parliamentary board and party and decision will be made by parliamentary board and party.
