It is the responsibility of the state to protect lives & properties of its people: Anwaarul Haq Kakar

LAHORE, Oct 30 (SABAH): Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has urged the students to exercise different choices for their future irrespective of the fear of committing wrong choice.

Speaking at a special session with the students of Lahore University of Management Sciences in Lahore on Monday, Caretaker Prime Minster Anwaarul Haq Kakar said he always feels energized when he sees young energies, which could shape the destiny of this country.

He said it is always with hope when we meet young people in the country or abroad. He said the youngsters are full of renewed energy and are source of stimulation for the senior people.

The Prime Minister said that right decisions are the guarantor of success of life. He said the time of studentship is precious asset of the life.

He said we have a lot of expectations from our youth. He asked the students to be bold as learning and committing mistakes go side by side.

Anwaarul Haq Kakar said he is impressed after having interaction with the faculty members and the university management. He said that he is pleased that there is a place in Pakistan, which is actually contributing towards creating knowledge.

Responding to the queries of the students, the caretaker Prime Minister said it is the responsibility of the state to protect the lives and properties of its people.

He clarified that the decision of sending back illegal aliens was taken after due consultations. He said that we are not sending back the refugees but only the illegal aliens. He said we are encouraging them to go back voluntarily, otherwise, the law will take its course.

To another question, the Prime Minister said that our tax to GDP ratio is only ten percent. He said it is important to increase the tax to GDP ratio in order to carry out the development projects.
