It is responsibility of entire nation to not allow anyone to be used as house of justice as house of PTI: Maryam Nawaz

LAHORE/ISLAMABAD, Mar 31 (SABAH): Senior Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and party’s chief organizer Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that if judges expressed their distrust over their fellow and raise questions then verdicts by such judge don’t enjoy any worth as in this case such verdict lost legal or moral value.

In a statement issued on Twitter, Maryam Nawaz said it is responsibility of the entire nation to not allow anyone to be used as the house of justice as house of PTI as one man show would just bring devastation.

On the issue of dissolving of four member bench, Federal INTERIOR Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan while talking to media persons outside the Supreme Court of Pakistan said that bench reached to three which started from nine which is a very miserable situation. He said that Justice Mandokhel apologized from the hearing and regretted through dissent note. Decision of Justice Qazi Faez Isa’s could not be challenged.

In the dissent note, it was conveyed that verdict was penned without taking his input, the minister said, and added the situation is very appalling, no less than a national disaster. He further said that justice should prevail and all should feel that it is being delivered.

The interior minister said if the full bench does not announce its decision then justice could not prevail and suggested the quarters concerned for forming the full bench to remain away from anarchy.

Meanwhile, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif while talking to media persons said that dissolution of bench once and again shows that there is deficiency of confidence.

He said it is the routine matter in the culture of politics but this does not happen in judiciary as the Supreme Court’s culture demands superior standard who do not breach confidence of any government, political party or any section of the society.
