It is condemnable to make a peaceful meeting & protest violent by conspiracy: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, Sep 9 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami, Liaqat Baloch has said that even after giving permission to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to hold a public gathering in Islamabad, the attitude of the federal and provincial governments remained unconstitutional, undemocratic and contempt of court.

Liaqat Baloch said the time was fixed in an agreement, when the meeting was peaceful, making it violent under the pretext is condemnable. He said protest against government incompetence and peaceful demonstration is the constitutional, democratic and political right of political parties.

He said making peaceful assembly and protest violent by conspiracy is condemnable. He said the people’s hatred against the government is continuously increasing, the economic problems of the people are not being solved, while it is written on the wall that the government is incompetent, failed and imposed on the nation based on a controversial mandate. He said this situation is surprising for the people that when the coalition government and the establishment are on the same page, why is the country suffering from crisis after crisis.

Liaqat Baloch said in a meeting with a delegation of students from abroad in Lahore that the people of Pakistan are with the Bangladeshi people for stability and development in Bangladesh. He said the students and youth of Bangladesh have created a new history by defeating the dictatorship through peaceful resistance. He said India is failing and disgraced everywhere in its obsession and lust for supremacy.

He said that India should stop conspiracies against Pakistan and Bangladesh, adding India’s subversive and conspiratorial character is the source of instability in the region. He said that Indian leadership should admit its mistake in Bangladesh and Occupied Kashmir and be a good neighbor.

He further said that for stability in the region, sustainable, trusting relations between Pakistan, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan and Bangladesh will be like a spring for the region and the world of Islam. Addressing the All Parties Conference regarding Khatam-i-Nabuwwat, he said the philosophy of Qadianism is not acceptable to the entire Muslim Ummah, including the Muslims of Pakistan, because it negates the fundamental belief of Islam.
