Israeli bombardment on Gaza will not pass without a response from the resistance: Hamas

GAZA, August 06 (SABAH): Hamas movement confirmed that the Israeli bombardment on Gaza will not pass without a response from the resistance.

In a press release, the movement emphasized that the Israeli occupation launched an offensive against the Palestinian people that started at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and continued to target Gaza.

Hamas condemned the Israeli attack on Gaza and held the Israeli occupation responsible for its crimes against the Palestinian people.

Hamas has also mourned the death of nine Palestinians who were killed in a series of Israeli air strikes in Gaza, inclusive of Tayseer al-Jabari, a senior commander in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement. The Israeli occupation also killed a 9-year-old girl in the attack.

The movement said that it is studying the situation with other Palestinian factions and is prepared to defend the Palestinian people at any cost.

Meanwhile Head of Hamas political bureau Ismail Haniyeh said that many politicians and UN officials have contacted the movement to contain the Israeli escalation in Gaza.

The Israeli occupation air forces struck Gaza this afternoon and killed nine Palestinians. A 5-year-old Palestinian girls was killed in the attack.

The top Hamas official confirmed that the Israeli occupation is held responsible for the repercussions of the Israeli offensive and for crimes perpetrated against the Palestinian people.
