Israel suffered the worst failure in its nefarious ambitions: Khaled Mashal

DOHA, Oct 7 (SABAH): Khaled Mashal, the head of foreign affairs of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, has said on the completion of one year of the Al-Aqsa battle that despite a year of aggression, the occupying Zionist Nazi enemy has suffered the worst failure in its heinous ambitions.

According to the Palestine Information Center, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the attack by Hamas on October 7, 2023, Khaled Mashal has said that Israel has failed in the Gaza Strip for a year, adding it will not succeed against the Palestinian nation in the future too.

“We congratulate the people of Gaza for their steadfastness,” he said in a video address on Monday. Khaled Mashal said that the results of the October 7 attack will spread to the entire region. He also thanked Lebanon, Iran, Yemen and Iraq for their support and said that sacrifices were given under the leadership of Hasan Nasrullah. Flood Al-Aqsa has again highlighted the issue of Palestine despite the enormous sacrifices, he said and added, “The al-Aqsa Flood restored life to Gaza and the Palestinian cause.”

He said that due to “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood”, Israel faced a crisis, adding Israelis’ self-esteem has been shaken. He asserted that Israelis believe that Hamas has won. He pointed out that the attack showed Israel’s true image to the world and reflected the creativity of the resistance.

He pointed out that despite Israel’s recent successes in Lebanon; the image of Israeli deterrence had been shattered on that date. He said the losses in this war were strategic for the axis of resistance, while Israel’s losses were strategic.  He also stressed that the process of liberation required heavy costs.

Khalid Mashal further said that the message of “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood” is to unite the resistance fronts. He called for the opening of additional fronts, including the West Bank. He urged the people of Gaza to show patience, stressing that victory is coming. It may be delayed but the dawn of freedom will arrive soon, he added.
