Israel is an evil & permanent threat to the world peace: Liaqat Baloch

ISLAMABAD, Oct 8 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Liaqat Baloch has said that Israel is a permanent threat to world peace and bloodshed in Gaza and genocide is a violation of the United Nations Charter and the worst form of the New World Order.

October 7 was marked across Pakistan as an expression of national Palestine solidarity. In this regard, a demonstration of solidarity with Palestine was held in front of the Palestine Monument in Qurtaba Digital City in which a large number of Qurtaba city staff, workers and residents participated and waved the Pakistani and Palestinian flags to express their solidarity with the people of Palestine and Lebanon. They also chanted slogans against the illegitimate Israeli state and the war criminal Netanyahu.

Addressing the participants, Liaqat Baloch said that Israel is an evil and constant threat to global peace. He said the bloodshed in Gaza and Lebanon should be stopped, the children and women of Gaza should be given the right to live, adding international community should impose sanctions on Israel and Netanyahu should be prosecuted in the International Court of Justice for war crimes. He said Israel’s bloodshed in Gaza and genocide is a violation of the UN Charter and the worst form of the New World Order.

Representatives of almost all national political and religious parties participated in the All Parties Conference regarding Palestine issue hosted by President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Tehreek-e-Insaf did not participate despite agreeing to hold an all-party conference when invited. A delegation led by the Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeemur Rehman participated in the All-Parties Unity Palestine Conference called at the President’s House on the proposal/demand of Jamaat-e-Islami.

Director of Foreign Affairs Asif Luqman Qazi was also part of the delegation. In the All-Parties Conference, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman presented the Jamaat-e-Islami long-standing position regarding the Palestine issue in a vigorous and effective manner.

At the end of the conference, a joint declaration was issued with the inclusion of amendments presented by Jamaat-e-Islami. It was decided in the Palestine Conference on the proposal of Liaqat Baloch that a similar unity Kashmir conference will also be called on the Kashmir issue.
