Islamic Word would have to take practical measures for protection of sacred places instead of only staging protests: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, July 5 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami, Secretary General Milli Yakjehti Council Liaqat Baloch has said that Islamic Word would have to take practical measures for protection of sacred places instead of only staging protests.

While talking to media persons on his arrival at Pakistan after performing pilgrimage, Liaqat Baloch said that increasing uncontrolled freedom of expression in Europe was an anti-Islam and a shameful act and stressed upon the international organisations pertaining to Islami rights to raise their voice against prejudice-based anti-human attitudes while breaking their silence on this worse kind of terrorism.

He said that arrival of Muslims from across the world on the occasion of pilgrimage is an unmatched example of gathering who gather there in the light of their real treasure of having their faith in Oneness of Almighty Allah and love for His Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) irrespective of their color, creed, area and language. 

He further said that unmatched gathering on the occasion of pilgrimage could become a way of getting rid of oppression of opponents of Islam as well as a tool of wakening of Muslim Ummah and a biggest revolution. On the occasion of pilgrimage, he appreciated the good arrangements made by the government of Saudi Arabia, especially Saudi ruler King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

For Muslims of the entire world, Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Liaqat Baloch said that pilgrimage was pleasant and a memorable experience and added the Pakistani pilgrims and overseas Pakistan were concerned about the country and were praying for its prosperity, development and security.

Liaqat Baloch said that the Islamic Word would have to take practical measures for protection of sacred places instead of only staging protests and added that increasing trend of uncontrolled freedom of expression in Europe was an anti-Islam and a shameful act which is why Islamic organisations must play their vital role in this regard so that such incidents don’t recur.
