Ishaq Dar will not proceed to New York for the 79th Session of the UNGA: Mumtaz Zahra Baloch
ISLAMABAD, Sep 21 (SABAH): Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has clarified that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar will not proceed to New York for the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Commenting on media speculation regarding the participation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister in the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly, FO Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that in view of some important upcoming diplomatic engagements and the ongoing preparations for the 23rd Meeting of the Council of the Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar will not proceed to New York for the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
She said that Prime Minister Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif’s programme for participation in the UNGA Session remains unchanged.
