Ishaq Dar reiterates Pakistan’s unwavering support to the Palestinian people

ISLAMABAD, Feb 09 (SABAH): Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Badr Abdelatty on Sunday.

According to a statement issued by Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan, they discussed the developments in Gaza including critical humanitarian situation impacting millions of Palestinian residents.

Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support to the Palestinian people and also expressed Pakistan’s full solidarity with Egypt. He also conveyed Pakistan’s support for convening of an Extraordinary OIC meeting of Council of Foreign Ministers to deliberate upon this issue. The two Ministers agreed to maintain close contact on these developments in the days ahead.
