Ishaq Dar extends warmest congratulations to the entire nation on the momentous occasion of Pakistan Day
ISLAMABAD, March 23 (SABAH): Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on the occasion of Pakistan Day has said that on this historic day, the Muslims of the subcontinent adopted the ‘Pakistan Resolution’ and demanded a separate homeland where they could live according to the principles of Islam.
According to a statement issued by Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan, Mohammad Ishaq Dar said, “Today, I extend my warmest congratulations to the entire nation on the momentous occasion of our National Day. As we proudly commemorate March 23 today, we pay tribute to and honor the unwavering and courageous efforts, vision, and determination of our ancestors that resulted in the establishment of an independent Pakistan. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah led the Pakistan movement, overcoming numerous challenges with remarkable resilience, bravery, and conviction.”
“While we celebrate this legacy, we reaffirm our dedication to the values of unity, faith, and discipline that have led us up to this point. We also pay tribute to our martyrs and heroes, who continue to bring pride to Pakistan,” he remarked.
He maintained, “Every year on March 23, we have the chance to collectively reflect on our nation’s journey, draw lessons from our past experiences, and make a strong pledge to strive for a better future. Pakistan is the identity we have forged through tremendous sacrifices. United as one nation, we vow to defend and safeguard it. I call upon my fellow Pakistanis to excel wherever you may be; your achievements represent Pakistan’s achievements.”
“On this day, let us also honor the struggle and exceptional sacrifices of our Kashmiri brothers and sisters in their quest for the inalienable right to self-determination. The people of IIOJK are currently facing severe oppression and state-sponsored terrorism from the Indian occupation forces. Pakistan remains steadfast in its commitment to providing moral and diplomatic support until the oppressed individuals of IIOJK attain their right to self-determination,” he added.
Mohammad Ishaq Dar said, “On this special day, I extend warm greetings to my fellow Pakistanis living abroad and commend their patriotism, dedication, and hard work. Each day, they proudly represent Pakistan internationally and play a vital role in shaping the country’s future success.”
