Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson congratulates people & govt of Pakistan on successful holding of national parliamentary elections

TEHRAN, Feb 09 (SABAH): Spokesperson of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ministry of Foreign Affairs has congratulated people and government of Pakistan on the successful holding of the national parliamentary elections in Pakistan.

In a statement issued on twitter on Friday, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson said “congratulations to the people & @GovtofPakistan on the successful holding of the national parliamentary elections in #Pakistan, indicating the strong position of democracy in the country. Wishing success of the government & the people of the friendly, neighborly & brotherly country of #Pakistan in completing this process, forming the new parliament and government & the increasing prosperity of the country” he said.
